Takko Advisory’s 2025 in review and the 2026 road ahead: Leading with purpose, humanity, and impact

As I reflect on the last day of 2025, one theme has clearly defined our work at Takko Advisory: leadership with purpose.

Our work has been and continues to be grounded in care; putting people first to create a positive impact on individuals, organizations, and societies. It has been driven by a growth mindset, strengthened through active collaboration, and guided by a solution-focused mindset that turns problems into solutions and enables meaningful change.

2025 was a very successful year in many ways, mostly a year of building strong foundations. Foundations for deeper dialogue, more purposeful leadership, and sustainable human-centric transformation.

Leadership in times of change

Throughout the year, we worked closely with companies, boards, CEOs, CHROs, and executive teams navigating transformation and change. We also supported individuals through coaching, mentoring, and solution-focused therapy because leadership is both systemic and deeply human.

I was also honored to be invited to several events where academia and real business challenges meet, speaking on topics close to my heart and highly relevant for today’s leaders.

Madrid | May 2025 | IESE Business School

I was privileged to join a CFO Forum  in an event with a special focus on ‘ESG, Strategy, and Culture in Family Businesses’.

I was a speaker at a panel on Leadership and Social Responsibility in Business and my core message in short is that the ‘S’ in ESG is an essential part of future-proof business, a strategic advantage taking care of people drives business success. Read my insights in this article on ‘Profit with Purpose’.

Achieving sustainable development goals requires a strong leadership framework and foundation rooted in a healthy and well-aligned business culture. The shared language is about values, connection, and the responsibility leaders hold in shaping not only strong teams but better futures.

Stockholm  | September 2025 | Stockholm School of Economics

I had the privilege of speaking at the Family Business CFO Forum on the topic of ‘From Public to Private: Leading Through Ownership Change and Cultural Shift’.

Some of my core insights were the following:

  1. Embrace the new clock speed but don’t lose your people in the rush
  2. Be very clear and focused on delivering the priorities
  3. Don’t underestimate change management and change leadership
  4. Remember: this isn’t just a new chapter: it’s a whole new book.

Supporting peace and children’s future

As the year comes to a close, one question stays with me:

What kind of leadership does the world truly need right now?

2025 reinforced my deepest belief: performance and purpose reinforce each other. Doing well by doing good is about long-term leadership.

This year, Takko Advisory made donations to CMI – Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation and UNICEF, supporting peacebuilding, dialogue, gender equality, youth participation, and the protection of children and child rights globally. Investing in peace, education, and dialogue is an investment in our shared future.

People & Purpose: A leadership playbook

2025 also marked the launch of thePeople & Purpose’ podcast.

Across 12+1 episodes, I had the privilege of interviewing amazing purpose-led leaders, practitioners, change-makers and thought-leaders from around the world. Key insights echoed across every conversation:

  • Leadership is human
  • Purpose drives performance
  • Resilience, emotional intelligence, and inclusion matter
  • Impact is as important as results

A personal milestone

2025 was also a deeply personal year for me. I graduated as a Solution-Focused Therapist, strengthening my belief that sustainable leadership and transformation start with how we listen, how we frame challenges, and how we unlock human potential.

This journey has further shaped my work with leaders and individuals — reinforcing a practical, hopeful, and forward-looking approach that focuses not on what is broken, but on what is possible. Because real change happens when people feel seen, capable, and empowered to move forward.

The road ahead for greater impact

While 2025 was about building foundations, 2026 will be about increasing impact.

Our commitment at Takko Advisory remains unchanged: to use our experience, influence, and insight to drive positive and systemic change. Real success is measured by the value we create for people, society, and the future.

We will be introducing new services, strengthening our commitment to ‘doing good’, and launching meaningful initiatives focused on youth, wellbeing, and hope for the future.

People & Purpose will continue with deep conversations around the leadership shift, bridging Academia and Business.

Personally, I remain committed to challenging systems that no longer serve humanity or the future. I stand for long-term value, human dignity, and leadership that dares to act; not because it is easy, but because it is right.

I would like to also reinforce my message to all of you to show up as your real self. Follow your dreams. Have the courage to step into the unknown — the safety net will appear when you jump.

The future is made today.
