From Vision to Reality: Insights into Takko Advisory’s first six months in business

Over the years, my vision and driver has always been to make a positive impact in everything I do. I have been committed to helping people thrive by leading change, building inclusive cultures, and fostering leadership that allows individuals to be their authentic selves. I care deeply about making a positive impact on the people I work with, and mentoring talented professionals is a role I hold close to my heart. 

The past six months of running my own company, Takko Advisory, have been transformative. As the founder of Takko Advisory, I have had the privilege of immersing myself in a diverse range of projects, collaborations, and inspiring initiatives. Each has contributed to my growth as an advisor, consultant, public speaker, and advocate for sustainable leadership.

My core focus is doing meaningful work driven by purpose: from keynotes and webinars to advisory roles and passion projects, this half-year milestone is an opportunity to reflect on the exciting path Takko Advisory has taken so far and to share some of the highlights that shape my mission and purpose.

Public Speaking: Insights and Inspiration

Webinar on Pay Transparency

In collaboration with Perform and Pay, I led an insightful discussion together with Perform & Pay to underline and open up the bigger picture around Pay Transparency. This issue goes beyond just pay, in my view it’s fundamentally about leadership, creating an equitable workplace with open and transparent communication and people processes that fully support and drive equity. This is the foundation that enables  equal pay for equal work and brings transparency and fairness in compensation, emphasizing the value it brings to employee trust and company culture.

Keynote at Henley Business School’s Masterclass in Helsinki

Together with Henley Business School, we designed and delivered an impactful organizational development program targeted at the senior leader population alumni from a variety of industries. During my keynote at the Masterclass, I emphasized the role of leaders in championing social responsibility within their organizations and communities. Sustainable leadership demands specific skills such as building a purpose that attracts key stakeholders, as well as social skills to collaborate, lead changes, and think systemically in order to build a culture that attracts talent and facilitates adaptation to a fast-changing world and work life. Additionally, I shared concrete examples around sustainable leadership, a people-centered change approach, and a commitment to collaborative practices that benefit society and businesses alike.

Associate at Vision Hunters 

As an Associate at Vision Hunters, I have the privilege of offering strategic leadership, and culture guidance to clients, helping them align business goals with a resilient, future-oriented vision.

Senior Advisor at Co-founders

Continuing my work with Co-founders is highly interesting, as I can support businesses in developing sustainable strategies and adaptive organizational cultures. I was also honored to contribute to their annual Culture Report, focusing on cultural integration in mergers and acquisitions.

Core Focus Areas & Initiatives

At Takko Advisory, our work spans several key domains that align with our mission to create meaningful, lasting impact:

  1.  Strategic Advising & Cultural development: Collaborating with two organizations on guiding their top leaders to implement a holistic strategy with team alignment based on culture analysis and prioritized development actions as well as strategy implementation and communication. 
  2. Leadership Development: Focusing on renewing the leadership development portfolio to ensure that leaders at all levels have the skills needed to lead themselves, their teams, and the business effectively especially in times of  transformation.
  3. Transformation Change Management and Communication: Developing a people-centered change and communication plan to drive necessary cultural change, ensuring that employees understand, commit to, and are equipped to implement sustainable change.
  4. HR and Communication Audit/Assessment: Conducting an audit and an assessment in order to get a comprehensive understanding of the current state of the areas People and Communications function owns and drives in their organisation. Based on these assessments, recommended development priorities are suggested and also initiated together with the client.
  5. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training for Managers: Providing training and practical insights from my experience as a CHRO and Team Lead, on embedding DEI as part of the organization’s DNA and daily actions.
  6. CEO Coaching: Empowering leaders with insights to excel in executive roles. I enjoy guiding CEOs navigate challenges and drive organizational success. 

Social Impact & Passion Projects

Takko Advisory is deeply committed to driving positive change not only within organizations, but also in communities. A few of our current initiatives include:

Solution-Focused Therapy Practicum

As part of my certification in solution-focused therapy, I’m offering pro bono coaching sessions during my practicum to help individuals work through challenges with a results-oriented approach.

Project Hope

This initiative is focused on empowering young people as they transition into the professional world. By fostering positivity and resilience, we aim to equip them with the tools needed for success.

Mentoring

I am actively (pro bono) mentoring young professionals and witnessing the inspiring impact it creates.

The journey ahead

The past six months have been a blend of inspiration, joy, and invaluable learning experiences—both from successes and challenges. I am immensely grateful to the clients, partners, and colleagues who have been and continue being part of this journey.
